Apple Inc. is reportedly making plans to open mini locations, or store-within-a-store shops, inside of Target stores. They will be in areas that don’t have enough customers to support full Apple stores, according to Time’s Techland on Friday citing AppleInsider.
Things may be looking up for the retail sector, but it’s still a long way from a full recovery. Just six of the 50 states have more retail jobs today than they did at the end of 2006, according to an On Numbers analysis of U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data.
